Ten years after leaving Newbury Park, we returned to Conejo Coffee to say hello to Shehab. We were told ownership had changed. I m happy for Shehab's retirement, but sorry to have missed seeing him. People never forget kindness and Shehab and Vee are the kindest of people. Kindness keeps people coming back. Best wishes to the new owners.

We've stopped here twice now passing though to LA and the customer service is great every time. We've tried the breakfast burrito, avo toast, lox bagel sandwich, and turkey avo sandwich - all very good. This horchata latte is spot on though! Definitely haven't tried a better horchata latte anywhere else

We went to get some grab and go breakfast and some coffee. We got the matcha latte, the chagaccino (which might be seasonal??) and 2 egg croissants. They let you customize the sandwiches to your liking with a number of protein options and additional toppings. We walked in instead of ordering ahead and both our food and drinks were ready very quickly. The staff were also very friendly! The food itself was good, but it wasn't anything super special--just a good breakfast sandwich that hits the spot. Value wise, I found that the sandwich was fairly big considering how much we paid. For the drinks, same thing. It was good enough that I had no complaints, but not anything so special that it stood out. The place itself isn't huge but had ample parking and seating. It was a bit cozy but in a good way! We went later in the morning and there weren't a lot of people.

Came here for a quick breakfast before a hike. This was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great...close to the freeway, Target and other shops. It's a bit easy to miss because it's in a small strip mall across from the big Target shopping complex. When we arrived around 9:30 there was someone in line and a handful of people seated enjoying their coffees and food. The menu offered some good choices and we both decided to order the avocado toast. We had plenty of coffee beforehand so we opted not to get a coffee, or beverage. Our order took about 10 minutes to make. After ordering, a steady stream of people came in so it did get busier. When our food arrived it was served on a plastic plate which isn't a big deal other than it slipped easily on the table when we went to cut our food. So for the toast....it was a large piece of sourdough piled high with lots of fresh, mashed avocado, fresh arugula, a handful of halved cherry tomatoes and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. It came with a side of fresh fruit that included cantaloupe and honeydew. The toast was delicious! We both ate every bite! It was $13/piece and we thought it was a fair price considering the size and quality. My review is limited considering that I only tried the avocado toast. However, I liked the vibe and the offerings so I will be back to try more. Bet that you'll find another review when I do so :)

Definitely recommend coming to Conejo Coffee if you're in the area. I ordered an iced americano, two hot espresso shots, and an açaí bowl and want to go back for another round just thinking about now. Reasonably priced and delicious espresso! The decor is minimal and so endearing, and the baristas helping us were similar in presence. They were super chill but obviously passionate about what they do which created a relaxing yet upbeat environment - good for a nice catchup with a friend (outside seating was clean, lovely, and perfect for a nice lil' kiki with a friend), doing homework, first date, reading, crossword puzzles, 700th date, favorite podcast rant, tutoring, you name it.

We love finding new Local gems. Always supporting local coffee shops! They had cozy sitting but we got it to go. They had some special house coffees but I was on a rush and got the regular oat milk cappuccino! Decent coffee and pricing was normal as well.

I can only rate Conjeo Coffee for takeout as of now but I'm definitely eager to come back for a sit down coffee date soon as their lattes are phenomenal! I have driven by the spot a hungered times and I'm not sure why I've never ventured inside but upon seeing their menu online on a whim, I was excited for a latte and breakfast burrito on a lazy morning. Delivery was perfect as my order arrived correctly and I appreciated that everything was wrapped perfectly. My burrito was double sealed with foil to keep it warm on transport and the latte had the safety seal to keep someone from being able to drink out of the top which was much appreciated. Clear care and love goes into their packaging which makes it a great cafe for to go orders. The reason for the five stars was this was simply one of the best matcha rose iced lattes I may have ever had. Not only was the presentation gorgeous and Instagram worthy (see picture attached) the flavors were delicious. The matcha was well crafted and i appreciated that the rose flavoring wasn't overpowering but definitely was there in the flavor and taste. I have been craving this iced latte since I ordered it and I'm eager to get back here soon for another one, the only lesson learned is get a large opposed to their regular size because it is that good! The breakfast burrito was also pretty tasty. Great portion on the fillings, it was a loaded burrito. I appreciate their wrapping skills as the burrito didn't fall apart and every bite allowed for each topping to be tasted. The burrito was on the spicy side for me, so I learned to get mild next time. This wasn't a negative, it's just a flavor preference for me as I liked it but got a little fiery to keep eating. I opted for the sausage breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. Cant wait to come back to this spot as they've got one of the best matchas this side of town and their breakfast menu is pretty extensive for a small cafe.
